The manager is someone who gets things done by people.
A Manager used the scarce/ available resources and gives the optimum result. So resource allocation is also a manager task which is a part of strategic planning. Every organization has some goals to accomplish, things that need to do in order to achieve organizational goals called "Strategic planning".
Manager jobs include planning organizing directing and controlling.
1) PLANNING: Define Mission Vision and Organization Goals, and then make Strategic planning to achieve those goals.
2) ORGANIZING: Dividing the task, assign job responsibilities.
3) DIRECTING: supervision, motivation, and lead the team of GOAL-oriented employees.
4) CONTROLLING: Performance monitoring and take necessary precautions whenever required.

But these are not an easy task, In order to excel in these, a manager must have some skills, These skills are called managerial skills.It includes technical, human, and conceptual skills.
Without managerial skill, A manager is like a pen without a refill. Such pen can't write which is a pen core job. Likewise, without managerial skills, a manager can't perform the managerial task which is his/her core job.
Managerial skills:
1)Technical skill : Skills and techniques which ease your job.
2)Human skills : how well you connect with your team members.
3)Conceptual skills: To simplify complex problems.
We have just given an overview of the basic work of a manager, Although Managerial Skills is a very broad term and we will discuss it in detail but till then, keep learning and wait for my next post.
